We have been to so many movies at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. This theatre opened in 1926 and has so much history. Before the movie begins an organist plays Disney tunes, and sometimes there is a pre-show with singing and dancing Disney characters and confetti comes down from the ceiling. The theatre is beautiful with old fashioned carvings and artwork, and the pre-shows make it an over the top fun experience for kids. Some days educators from the Wildlife Learning Center host a pre-show, where they bring wild animals and teach the children about science and survival - their habitat needs, their ideal climatic conditions, and the food they eat. My daughter loves seeing animals before the show. This is certainly an experience you don't want to miss.
